In a yurt on the snow-covered fields of Russia, Nanook and Sedna live alone in the wilderness, following the traditions of their ancestors. But slowly, inevitably their way of life starts changing. Hunting becomes more difficult, the animals around them are dying and the snow is melting earlier every year. 

Chena, who visits them regularly, is their only connection to the outside world — and to their daughter Ága, who left after a family feud. 

When Sedna’s health deteriorates, Nanook decides to fulfill her wish. He embarks on a long journey  to find Ága.

Winner at numerous film festivals for its director and as best film.
